The picture this week was taken while I was in Chicago over the summer for a work trip. I was able to get out to Navy Pier, which overlooks the city. I had seen pictures from the area before and I knew I wanted to get a picture from there as well. I was busy taking pictures at Millenium Park prior to the sunsetting and as I made my way over to Navy Pier, the sun was just getting ready to set. However, it took me about 20 minutes to find the place I wanted to be for the shot. I went to the top of a parking garage and JUST barely made it up in time for this shot. I think it turned out well and you can see the John Hancock Building off in the distance.
I am still offering pictures on sale for donation to the Mario Lemieux Foundation in memory of my good friends Dad who recently passed. So please pass this along and buy up pictures!!!! See previous post for more details.
I’m heading to Ft. Lauderdale this week for work, so hopefully I’ll be able to get some pictures down there if I have time (and also, there is a Primanti Brothers that I can watch the Pens game at!!).
Lastly, the Pens are in BIG TROUBLE…They are down 0-2 in the series and 4-2 at the end of the first period this game. I don’t understand it…They are the cup favorites, but I guess have just ran into a team that has their number. If they can somehow pull this game out, I’d still feel like they have a chance, but down 0-3, they are done. Fingers crossed and hope these last 40 minutes of the game turn out a little better.
